The car is parked on the street because the garage became a second house. Christmas, the last remodel, four bikes, a treadmill that lost its argument with January, and a stack of boxes labeled in a year you no longer remember. In Garland and Richardson that story is almost a floor plan: two-car bay, pull-down attic above, alley or driveway just wide enough for a dump trailer if we place it with some care.

Older Plano and East Garland ranches hold a longer archive — paneling scraps, a dead riding mower, paint that should never have lived on the floor. We take the household and the light leftover. If the goal is “park the car this weekend,” say that. We work the floor first and leave wall shelving if you want it. If the goal is empty-for-listing photos, say that too. Those are different stopping points, and guessing wastes a morning. Tape what stays. We are curious about the line, not nosy about why it is there.

Access is usually the easy part. The constraint is the door, the water heater, and whatever was stacked in front of both. Tight Firewheel and Murphy cul-de-sacs still take a trailer if we can stage without blocking a neighbor’s mailbox. Tell us about HOA street rules and trash-day parking when you book. We are a morning, not a fixture.

Attic overflow often lives in the garage even when it started upstairs. If you want both done in one visit, send photos of the pull-down and the bay. Attic work is slower and priced as access plus volume. We would rather put that on the range than discover a second climate of boxes after the trailer is already spoken for.

Rowlett and lake-lot garages sometimes share space with storm leftover — fence boards, branches, a door that lost its hinges. Clean vegetative waste and mixed household junk can be different dump tickets. Mixed is fine if we know. A surprise brush pile on a furniture load is how a number moves, and we would rather sort that in the quote.

City bulk pickup will take some of this, some weeks, if you disassemble and drag. A garage is rarely one category. That is why people call. One crew, one trailer, one confirmed number. You keep the house. We take the years that piled up between the lawnmower and the wall.

Usable bikes, tools, and boxed goods get pulled off the landfill pile when they are honestly usable — not rusty science projects. We do not run a garage sale in your driveway. We also do not invent praise on this page. The after-photo is the floor, the water heater you can finally reach, and a car that fits where it was drawn on the plans.

If a car still lives in the bay, say so. We work around a vehicle that is staying. We will not treat a bumper as a shelf, and we would rather you pull the car into the drive for an hour than spend the morning building a path around a mirror. Same with a freezer that is staying: mark it, give it air, let us load the rest. The job is the overflow, not a fight with the things you still use.

Photos that help: door up, both back corners, the rafters if anything is up there, and the driveway approach. A wide shot from the sidewalk tells us whether a trailer can sit without blocking a neighbor in a Firewheel cul-de-sac or a Murphy HOA street. We would rather know about a basketball hoop on a low arm, a tight side gate, or a boat tongue in the way than discover them with a loaded dolly. Small facts, better range.
