Mattress removal in Garland, Plano, and North Dallas

City bulk week is a calendar. A mattress on the landing is a today problem. It bends wrong, it does not fit a sedan, and the HOA does not love it leaning on a mailbox until Thursday. One mattress with a clear path is often the $125–$175 minimum. You are paying for the roll-out, the labor, and the dump — not for filling a trailer you do not need. A mattress and box spring together still frequently sit on that floor if access is easy. Add a frame, a nightstand, and bags, and you may be looking at a quarter load ($275). We send a range from photos, then confirm in the driveway — or in the breezeway — before we lift.

You do not need to bag the mattress unless your building or HOA asks. You do not need to drag it to the curb unless you want the cheap version of the carry. Inside the house is normal. Stairs are an access line: one flight is small, two is more, a third-floor walk-up in a Richardson complex is the conversation we should have on the text thread, not at the truck.

King, queen, full, twin, the RV leftover in a Wylie garage — size matters less than the turn at the bottom of the stairs. Sleeper sofas are a furniture job that happens to include a mattress; tell us if the whole piece is going. Platform beds with storage drawers are heavier than they look. A photo of the piece and the hall is worth more than a brand name.

Apartments and townhomes are most of these calls. Lease-end in Addison and the Telecom Corridor, roommate swaps in East Plano, guest rooms in Firewheel that became storage. Dumpsters at complexes are often full or picky. Our trailer parks, loads, and leaves. If the office wants a COI or a visitor pass, say so when you book.

Garland and Plano city pickup programs will take bedding some weeks, some ways. If you can wait and you can drag, that is a real free option. If you cannot wait, or the mattress is upstairs, or it is the wrong week, we are the paid option that actually finishes. We do not compete with the city by pretending their program does not exist. If we are already coming for a mattress, a box spring, a broken lamp, and a bag of linens can usually ride. Charged mini-fridges and wet paint cannot hitchhike. We will flag those. Usable beds that are genuinely clean are rare on this call; when they are, they can skip the landfill. Most mattresses on this job have already done their years.

Box springs travel like mattresses and surprise people who thought they were “just cardboard.” Mention them. A metal frame that disassembles is easy; a platform with drawers is a furniture carry. If the bed is in a guest room that became storage, send the path through the hall, not just the glam shot of the quilt. We have time for honesty. We do not have time to learn the floor plan against a king at the landing.
